GE Capital
: It is the subsidiary of GE Capital, the financial service powerhouse of General
electric, with US $ 90 billion in the revenues. It manages payroll accounting and call
centers, and process mortgage, loans and insurance claims. As of March 1999, it employed
800 people.
American
Express : American Express has set up Financial Resources Center (FRC) in
India to partially meet its global requirement of processing records.
British Airways
: BAs subsidiary in Mumbai, World Network Services, handles and array of
BackOffice jobs for its parent and other airlines such as dealing with errors in the
automatic reservation system and keeping track of frequent flier miles. Asia in January
1999, it employed 750 people and is expected to hire 800 more.
3Com :
Converges provides 3COM and any other clients with call central and billing and customer
care services through 30 center. It employs over 30,000 people.
US Banks
: Several Leading US banks have out located their HR, customer services,
telemarketing and shared administration operations for Europe and North America.
